Holiday easily outswims Cambridge in dual meet

In one of their final tuneups before the All-City meet, the Holiday Swim Club defeated Cambridge 405-186 in a dual meet on Thursday, July 11. Kassy Winters and Audrea Guevara won three different individual events to lead Holiday to victory. Winters won the individual medley, freestyle and butterfly in the girls 15-18 division while Guevara brought home wins in the breaststroke, fly and free in the girls 11-12 bracket. 

Anna Sponable and Erika Robinett dominated the 13-14 division. Sponable won the fly and the free while Robinett was victorious on the breast and backstroke. 

Ava Privratsky was also able to win multiple events for the Holiday girls team, placing first in the breast and free for the 8-and-under division.

Claire Hicks and Emma Privratsky each picked up one event win. 

On the boys side, Jack McCarty and Michael Hudgins won three events each for Holiday. McCarty won the IM, as well as the back and fly in the 15-18 division. Hudgins, on the other hand, led the 9-10 class by winning the back, free and IM.

Renaldo Guevara was the other multi-event winner (fly and breast) for the Holiday boys in the 8-and-under division.

Landon Perry, Nathan Williams, Landon Gerig, Carter Hollis and Joshua Grossman also picked up individual first-place finishes. 

The All-City meet will take place at Holiday Swim Club on Saturday, July 27, and will feature two other Keizer teams (Northview and Northwood) and three Salem teams (Cambridge, Madrona and Jan Ree).
