Losses seemed almost viral last week with McNary High School’s varsity soccer teams and varsity football teams all taking them. It was a similar story for the Lady Celts varsity volleyball team, but the girls managed to turn the page at a weekend tournament.

The Celtics started the season with a pair of losses, but traveled to Mountain View High School Saturday, Sept. 7, to take part in a tournament where they scored wins over Redmond and The Dalles-Wahtonka high schools.

“We’re still trying to find the consistency in our line-up,” said Kellie Scholl, McNary head coach. “We need to eliminate our unforced errors, and become stronger offensively.”
