Iris art show winners honored

The Keizer Art Association presented awards to winners of its Celebration of Flowers show being held now through May 25. The artists reception and awards ceremony were held at the Enid Joy Mount Gallery on Saturday, May 4. Thirty pieces were entered into the show.

The official poster art for the 2014 Keizer Iris Festival was also selected from four entries.

The two first place winners in the Celebration of Flowers show were August Envy, a color pencil piece by Lynda Sprague, and Grateful Red, a mixed media piece by Kathleen Haney.

Second place honors went to Thursday Afternoon, a pastel by Debbie Robinson.

Fire Within, an oil by Colleen Goodwin-Chronister won third place. Honorable mention ribbons were awarded to A garden, a calligraphy by Penny White and Rain at the Wooden Shoe, an acrylic by Debbie Warren.
