A new Silverton Health clinic is expected to be open at Inland Shores in Keizer by January.

Rick Cagen, president and CEO of Silverton Health, confirmed details with the Keizertimes on Wednesday. The day before, Cagen met with various Keizer officials.

“The meeting was incredible,” Cagen said. “We’ve done these types of meetings a number of times. You go to the communities and see what the needs are. It was an absolutely incredibly warm feeling in that room (Tuesday), the way they were appreciative of us, offering to help in any way. It was an immediate feeling of partnership, that we were welcomed into the Keizer family.”

Cagen said Stayton Construction is building the 10,000 square foot building, which will include services such as internal medicine, a lab, OB/GYN, primary care and rotating specialists.
