When Linda Baker, the director of Keizer Homegrown Theatre’s (KHT) upcoming production of The Odd Couple, began reading the script, she paid close attention to the voices she heard in her head. Then did her best to find actors that matched them.

“My biggest victory was getting the cast right,” said Baker. “We’ve got some KHT veterans in the cast and also three newcomers.”

The play kicks off KHT’s second season with six performances, April 4-6 and 11-13, at Keizer Civic Center, 930 Chemawa Road N.E. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $7 for seniors, students and men and women serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Curtain time is 7 p.m. for each show.
