Thank you to Keizer Young Life

To the Editor:

Keizer Heritage Center would like to shout out a big thank you to a group of Keizer Young Life volunteers who came to the building on Saturday, March 9.

They worked in teams and cleaned up the massive amount of tree, shrub and other landscape debris after the two day trimming project completed by Brian Hanssen of Hanssen Landscape.

The weather was perfect and the 16 students plus their leader, Beau St. Peter, did a fabulous job cleaning up the debris and putting it into a large truck.  This project is one of the ways the students earn money to go to Young Life Camp in the summer.  Again, a big thank you to Kailyn Aims, Josh Aldrich, Hannah Bachellier, Denai Ball, Collin Beddingfield, Hydi Cunningham, Jordan Emerich, Tony Goemere, Dalton Lindsey, Tristan Mistkawi, Mariah Nygard, Tyler Robinson, Kenny Valdez, Payton Williams, Brandon Wyatt and Macana Wyatt.  Keizer Heritage Center is the restored 1916 Keizer School next to City Hall on Chemawa.  Visit our website at keizerheritage.org.
