Baseball was the theme Tuesday night during the monthly Keizer Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meeting.

During public comment, three different people affiliated with the Keizer Youth Sports Association (KYSA) spoke about the organization and its needs.

A presentation to the same board last month by KYSA president Kurt Barker and Keizer Little League president Stephanie Bojorquez outlined a list of potential repairs at Keizer Little League Park. The total bill for the listed repairs topped $500,000, which ignited controversy about the condition of the fields and who should be responsible for the work.
