Wine, food, live music and door prizes, with parks in Keizer benefitting.

The Keizer Parks Foundation (KPF) is hosting the first Pinot in the Parks fundraiser Friday, March 15 at the Keizer Civic Center, 930 Chemawa Road N.

The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets (limited to 150 total) are $30 each or $50 for two, available at four places around town, including the Keizertimes office.

“We’re hoping it’s the first of many such events to come,” said Vickie Hilgemann, president of KPF.

Hilgemann said the foundation has been around half a dozen years, with ideas for a recurring fundraiser being tossed around.
