Nancy Hall didn’t want her restaurant to bear her name.
Partner Rich Giddens did.
Giddens won. Nancy’s Burgers and Fries opened this week.
“That name was agreed upon by both,” Hall said. “I said he’s well known in the area, so I thought something with Rich in it would be better. He said Nancy’s Burgers and Fries would be cute. I said OK. He didn’t have to twist my arm too much.”
Giddens said Hall’s personality will be loved, and the food.
“It seems like 10 years ago there was not much room for independence with burger places,” Giddens said. “Now more are coming back. We have a better quality burger than those chain places.”
