Rich Forster was able to fend off one family member for the win.

He’s pretty certain his wife would have won if she had competed.

Forster and his first cousin Larry Sapp traveled from Siletz to Keizer last Friday to take part in the Willamette Lutheran Homes “Seniors Got Talent” show, done in the spirit of the popular TV show American Idol.

There were 10 contestants total, with one of the few rules being that contestants had to be at least 62 years old.
