Authorities worked deep into Sunday night rescuing neglected dogs in Brooks.

More than 140 dogs were rescued at Willamette Valley Animal Rescue on Pueblo Avenue. Salem’s Alicia Marie Inglish, 24, president of the facility, was arrested around 10 a.m. Jan. 13. She was charged with 120 counts of Animal Neglect 2 and one count of Tampering with Evidence. The arrest came following an investigation into her involvement with what was described as an animal rescue facility.
