The Keizer Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring its first Turkey Dash.
The 5K run/walk is slated for 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving, Nov. 22.
Participants will start and finish at the Keizer Chamber of Commerce office, 6075 Ulali Drive, and run through the Gubser neighborhood.
Pre-registration at the Keizer Chamber office is $18 for adults, $10 for those 18 and younger. Add $2 to adult fees for day-of-race registration. Flock discounts are offered for groups of five or more. Pies will be awarded to top finishers.
Runners can pick up packets between 4 and 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 or beginning at 7 a.m. on the day of the dash.
The event is stroller friendly, but pets are prohibited. For more information, visit keizerchamber.com.
