The Keizer Celts Team No. 1 took second place in a state in a tournament last weekend.
The Celts played Aloha and won 14-2 then played a tough Lake Oswego team and lost 6-7. After two wins in the consolation bracket, the Celts faced Lake Oswego again and won.
That win earned the team a spot in the championship game against Camas where they lost 9-1 in seven innings.
Team members are: Joey Kibbey, Justin Fishel, Greg Eggleston, Jerry Rivera, Griffen Gosling, Jaden Deckard, Travis Holt, Caleb Kiefiuk Yates, Kyle Milks, and Evan Alger.
